1. Rule numero uno, my word is law. I being Aviar, and every other admin on the site. If we tell you not to do something, or send you a warning message...be aware, you only get one strike. If we're feeling nice, you'll just get banned for a week. If we're feeling not nice (which, trust me...is usually the case) then I guess you'll have to find a new place, because we don't want you here anymore.
2. No godmoding/powerplaying. That's basic stuff in rp 101, so hopefully I won't have to explain why. If I do have to explain, perhaps you shouldn't be here in the first place.
3. Grammar, literacy...please. Nothing is a bigger eyesore than a post composed of chat-speak, sentence fragments, and spelling errors. This isn't a punishment rule, I won't do anything...but I will hound you about it through messages, and constantly make a deal out of the matter until you start at least typing up your posts in word before posting them. It's an amazing program, what with telling you when you make spelling errors...and even when you've got a run-on or fragment.
4. Respect the admins, and respect the rest of your peers here. This is a community, don't be rude.
5. No excessive chatting OOC on an IC thread. None of this '(Heh, that was funny. So what did you do in school today?) And his mighty blade did sing in the'... crap. it just makes the thread messy.
6. We are all adults here, but proboards caught me. I mean, er...I just don't approve of mature content. So let's not...have any...-cough-
7. Please, give your character both a first and last name...or give me a reason in your application why there is no last name. When you apply, you will have to apply with only one name (because pb is just like that), so you will have to go into your account later and change your display name. Your login sn will remain the same.
8. Minimum posts are about a paragraph, just to make it possible for action to continue. I suppose if it's the final post and you're leaving the room; you can have a one-liner. We're pretty lenient on this rule, just realize that if you don't provide much action and dialogue...it is more difficult for the other person to reply. And that will make a thread die quicker.
9. No guns. It's 1450 AD, CC is not in Asia. Therefore, it's not likely...anyone...would have a gun. If I catch you trying to rp that you have one, I will be angered...angered I say. So don't you dare try to come up with some BS about having one.
10. Most of this was obvious information, and there are plenty of other rules you could probably guess off the top of your head. But none of you are kindergartners, and if you are...well you're obviously very advanced for your age, and thus should still understand what is not accepted in the Crimson Court.
11. Don't hijack a thread. I'll tell you if you've done it...if it's really hard to tell. For instance, having a conversation that lasts 20 or more posts, excluding the person who started the thread...would be hijacking. If you and the character in question really need to have this conversation, start your own thread.
12. Before making any posts, please create a character profile. Thank you much.
